Batting Practice Sessions with John Pecoraro
NOTE: you MUST sign up 24 hours in advance of each session or walk in session is $30.
Our Batting Practice Sessions give athletes of all ages an opportunity to get extra reps from John Pecoraro. John throws for one hour while each participant takes turns receiving batting practice speed fastballs (off-speed pitches are okay if participant asks prior to each at-bat).

About John Pecoraro
John played Division I baseball for Hall of Famer, Tony Gwynn, at San Diego State University on a baseball scholarship. Originally from la Jolla, John played for Paloma Valley High School in Menifee, where he was named CIF Most Valuable Player and All-California State Team in 2008.
John brings energy to BPA San Diego as well as a broad knowledge of the game. With his many years of playing and teaching, he has developed a coaching style that excites and motivates our athletes. Over the past decade, numerous former and current MLB players have mentored John, including 1989 NL MVP Kevin Mitchell, 3x World Series Champion Hitting Coach Merv Rettenmond, 15-Time All-Star Tony Gwynn, and Washington Nationals RHP Stephen Strasburg. Currently John is attaining his Teaching Credential and Master’s Degree in Education.
