3 championships for BPA this weekend!

Playing in the AAU Veteran’s Day NIT, the BPA 12U East beat the Saddleback Cowboys 7 to 5 in the championship game.

The BPA 14U Rawlings team continues their great play going undefeated in the AAU Veteran’s Day NIT for another championship.

Congrats also goes to the 13U BPA Rawlings team. The team beat the Mad Cats 8 to 1 in the Championship to win the USSSA Vegas Valley Challenge Majors Division. That’s consecutive tournament wins for the team.

Keep up the great work coaches and players. We look forward to more great play from all of our teams.

Congrats also goes out to the many BPA players who signed their college letter of intent last week. BPA continues to help players advance in their playing careers.

April BPA Player of the Month

Tommy Bayles

tommy bayless POM April blog

Tommy Bayles (13U) is this month’s BPA Player of the Month. Tommy’s work ethic, and desire to get better each and every day at baseball is the reason for his success. He comes into BPA at least 4-5 times a week to improve on all aspects of his game. He has worked extremely hard on his hitting, and works even harder during his BPA fitness programs, and all of his hard work is showing every time he steps onto the baseball field. The steps that Tommy continues to take to get better is the reason why we wanted to highlight him as BPA’s Player of the Month. Tommy displays the type of work ethic and determination that BPA wants to see within every single one of their players.

Congratulations, Tommy! Keep up the hard work!

BPA wants to recognize and congratulate both Bryce Ignaciak and Konrad Bohnert on their outstanding performances this month. Both of these boys have shown great improvement and work extremely hard on and off the field to better themselves each and every day. And it has absolutely shown on the baseball field. Their work ethic, baseball IQ, and their ability to change the outcome of any game is why BPA has chosen these two young men as BPA’s Players of the Month! Congratulations Konrad and Bryce! Keep up the outstanding work!

November BPA Players of the Month

Reed LaBar and Griffin Teisher

Reed LaBar and Griffin Teisher are BPA’s first ever Players of the Month. Earlier this month Reed and Griffin signed their National Letter of Intent (NLI) to commit to Cal State San Marcos. Reed and Griffin are outstanding athletes and students who display the type of work ethic and determination that BPA wants to see within every single one of their players.

BPA wants to personally congratulate them on their decision and outstanding achievement, and to wish them the best of luck in their upcoming senior year at La Costa Canyon high school before becoming Cal State San Marcos Cougars.

BPA’s Blake Allred Hitting For the Cycle

Hitting for the cycle is one of baseball’s most coveted accomplishments of one batter hitting a single, a double, a triple, and a home run all in the same game.

On Sunday, September 25, 2015, BPA San Diego team member, Blake Allred, hit for the cycle.  Blake, a freshman at La Costa Canyon High School, went 4 for 5 with a home run, a triple, a double, and to finish off an already outstanding day at the plate,  a single up the middle to solidify hitting for the cycle. In Blake’s final at bat, he battled with two strikes and was able to get a pitch in the zone to drive up the middle. As soon as the ball was driven off of the bat, everyone in attendance cheered knowing how big of an achievement it is to hit for the cycle.

BPA wants to congratulate Blake on this outstanding achievement, and encourages all players in the community to always strive for greatness.
